Description: Seeking Locum GI Hospitalist to join float pool --7on/7off Coverage --Start Date: Jan 4th, 2027 --Contract Length: 6 months --Shift Details: Call Coverage --Amount of coverage needed per month: 7 on and 7 off is fine, although some have elected to be here for two weeks consecutively. Most of the arrangements in the past have been 8-hour shifts with call-back coverage. Some night coverage might be part of the arrangement as well; however, we are pretty good about holding everything possible until the next morning. Typically, the shift is day with night call coverage. --Support staff: 9 APPs and several RN’s that work as support staff. We also have on staff many LPNs and MAs across 3 GI locations. --Patient population: Adult, Our average patient age is 58 --We have 9 APPs and several RN’s that work as support staff. We also have on staff many LPNs and MAs across 3 GI locations. Two of our APPs are trained in advanced GI and do a preliminary evaluation of patients before scheduling with the advanced physician. --EMR: Cerner --Special procedures: General GI Hospitalist Need --Required: WV license or IMLC, DEA, BLS, ACLS
