Description: Hospital is seeking a Locum BC OB/GYN for call coverage -- 7am November 25 through 7am November 30, 2026; five 24-hour call shifts -- Call shared with established team of 2 physicians and 4 nurses -- 1:3 call schedule; not required to remain on-site during call but must respond within 30 minutes -- Total inpatient census 6 per day; 2–3 OB checks per day -- 30–40 deliveries per month; 14 surgical cases per month -- Procedures include C-section, hysterectomy, circumcision, postpartum tubal ligation, vaginal delivery, D&C, and laparotomy for ectopic pregnancy -- No ICU/critical care procedures; no codes -- 3 labor rooms; 16 patient rooms; 6 newborn beds -- 2 AWHONN fetal monitoring instructors; GE Centricity centralized fetal monitoring; Level I Nursery -- Latest Stryker towers for laparoscopic procedures -- Level II Trauma ED; Medical ICU; 24/7 on-call anesthesiology and radiology; 24-hour surgical services -- Critical care via telemedicine; 24/7 Med-Peds hospitalist program -- Cardiology on site 5 days per week; orthopedics 4 days per week; psychiatry available -- EMR: Epic (HealthSpan) -- Active North Carolina license and DEA required in hand -- BLS and NRP required
